I'm a resident of Melbourne, Australia, a country I've called home for about 13 years now. I have a cozy little family here and right now I'm looking forward to a lot of things....spring, the start to our house renovations, my family coming over for a visit and a trip to New Zealand.
Last year I found myself at crossroads, my youngest was going to start school and I had to find myself a new role. I wanted to do something that would connect me to people, be positive and meaningful to me and those involved with me and allow me to grow gradually. I wanted it to be loosely connected with crafts and design and be fulfilling! Not much to ask for eh?
And Earthtribe was born.....
Earthtribe is a business I've recently started, it's an online shop of Fair Trade and Handmade gifts with a focus on kids. It's given me a new focus and has broadened my approach.
The business is in it's infancy, it's trying to find it's place in the larger retail community and it's all very exciting. I have a lot of help , many creative and thoughtful friends and a supporting family.
The next few months will be interesting and challenging ....
